Avoid This Road: Traffic Alert Issued For North Rockland

Motorists have been advised to avoid Buckberg Road in Tompkins Cove on Wednesday, Aug. 15, as DPW crews begin a road resurfacing project.

The Stony Point Police Department issued a traffic alert cautioning that there may be delays in the area while the work commences.

The alert is the latest in Rockland, as crews have been busy throughout the county paving and resurfacing. Motorists have been seek alternate routes when possible.
